Vaccination

Requirements

We require all children at NCCDC to be up-to date on immunizations unless they have a medical exception. Check here to view the CDC recommended immunization schedule

All staff and parent volunteers must submit proof of Covid-19 vaccination before entering the classroom.

Space & Cleaning

Here are a few of the space and cleaning measures NCCDC has in place to support the heath of our center and reduce the risk.

  • We clean and disinfect all high touch surfaces daily with a diluted bleach solution recommended by our by our oregon Health and environment inspector.

  • Both classrooms have air purifiers running at all times.

  • Deep cleaning is conducted on a weekly schedule based on Oregon Early Learning Division guidelines in addition to thorough daily cleaning and sanitizing.

Safety Precautions:

All of our doors require codes to enter the building.

Children may only be picked up by those who are on their approved pick up list.

Teachers are instructed to do a roll check for children after every transition to make sure everyone is always accounted for.

All Staff are background checked and fingerprinted in the fbi database before they can enter the classroom. Volunteers are never allowed to be alone with children or assist diapering / bathroom routines in any form.

All staff are CPR and First Aide certified.

Staff are required to complete a minimum of 15 hours of continued educational training each year.
